Kegging and Cleaning https://www.crotonbrewing.com/apps/photos/ Kegging and Cleaning Boiling the parts The parts of the keg, especially the poppet valves, are difficult to clean and sanitize. I boil all the small parts for 10 minutes to make sure I kill EVERYTHING https://www.crotonbrewing.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=163260931 163260931 One of my kegs Cleaning the keg in the new sink and granite countertop. I will add pics of the kegging operation at a later time. https://www.crotonbrewing.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=163260933 163260933 Cleaning I don't use detergents in cleaning anything I use with beer. I use a scrubby on the stainless steel to get the big chunks off. I then boil water with PBW, aka, OxyClean, int he brew kettle. I add anything else stainless that can fit. Everything compes out bright and sparkling! https://www.crotonbrewing.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=163260932 163260932
